Goals

Up2UML was a European project funded by the European Commission under the Leonardo da Vinci programme between October 2005 and November 2007.

UML, the Unified Modeling Language, is a non-proprietary modeling and specification language often used by software developers to describe the functionality, the structure and internal behavior of software systems.

Up2UML aimed to

  • develop new content and training material for UML2
  • develop syllabi for different target groups
  • develop innovative training concepts (e.g. distance learning with on-line tutoring, social learning, virtual learning cycles, community of practice)
